Visible results typically last 6-12 months, but sometimes even longer.

  • As we age, the facial fat pads descend downwards and inwards, creating areas of lost volume, skin folding, and jowling. Dermal fillers can help restore and correct these changes.

  • An advanced skincare procedure which involves the injection of micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid into the skin. This treatment aims to improve skin texture, reduce signs of aging, and enhance overall skin health, resulting in a revitalized and glowing complexion.

  • Under-eye PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment is a cosmetic procedure aimed at reducing dark circles, fine lines, and signs of aging around the eyes.

    How It Works:

Blood Draw: A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm.

Centrifugation: The blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, which is rich in platelets and growth factors, from other blood components.

Preparation: The platelet-rich plasma is extracted and prepared for injection.

Injection: The PRP is carefully injected into the under-eye area. This process can be done with topical anesthesia to minimize discomfort.

    Benefits:

Improved Skin Texture: PRP can stimulate collagen production, leading to smoother and firmer skin.

Reduced Dark Circles: The growth factors may improve circulation and reduce pigmentation, helping to diminish the appearance of dark circles.

    Recovery:

Minimal Downtime: Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. Some bruising, redness or swelling may occur, but it usually subsides quickly.

Results: Initial improvements can be seen within a few weeks, with optimal results often appearing over several months as collagen builds up. Often several sessions are recommended.

  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) hair restoration is a treatment that uses your own blood to promote hair growth. Here’s a brief overview of how it works:

Blood Collection: A small amount of your blood is drawn, usually from your arm.

Centrifugation: The blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins it at high speeds to separate the components. This process isolates the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells.

Injection: The PRP is then injected into the scalp in areas where hair thinning or loss is occurring. The growth factors in the PRP are believed to stimulate hair follicles and promote new hair growth. Hair follicles can become thicker, resulting in thicker hair.

Treatment Schedule: Multiple sessions are recommended, often spaced a few weeks apart, with maintenance treatments suggested every few months.

  • Botox is an effective solution for excessive sweating to the underarms, palms of hands, and soles of feet. Additionally, many insurance companies will cover the cost of Botox.

Underarm treatment is enjoyed by many clients, where results last for months, and some do not even require deodorant after treatment!

  • Neuromodulator (Botox/Dysport) is injected into the masseter muscles, which gives a gradual slimming effect to the face.

This treatment can also be effective for relieving TMJ. Some insurances may cover a portion of the cost of the treatment.

  • Botox (Botulinum toxin type A) has been approved by Health Canada for the prevention of chronic migraines in adults. It is sometimes covered by private insurance coverage.

Treatment involves injecting Botox into specific points on the head and neck to help prevent migraines in individuals who suffer from chronic migraines. Treatment is every 12 weeks.

Botox treatment aims to provide relief from chronic migraine symptoms and improve overall quality of life for migraine sufferers."

It's important to note that Botox treatment for chronic migraines is part of a comprehensive migraine management plan that may include other treatments and lifestyle modifications.

Generally for private insurance coverage, this therapy may be covered for adults who experience 15 or more headache days per month, with 8 being migraines. Patients generally must have trialed 2-3 prophylactic or “preventative” medications before Botox is approved by private insurances. There is an additional tray fee that may or may not be covered by insurance.
